PLEASE READ THIS SECTION THOROUGHLY BEFORE PURCHASE! JENNYYPENNY LLC TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR 1:1 LESSON PACKAGES. 

 

INJURY 

  • By participating in 1:1 shuffle dance lessons, you acknowledge and agree that JennyyPenny LLC is not liable for any injuries sustained during or as a result of these lessons, or practice sessions before or after lessons. Your participation is at your own risk. It is highly recommended to listen to your body and take warm-up and cool-down exercises very seriously to prioritize safety. 

 

LOCATION 

  • I offer two location options for lessons: 
    • Option 1: Virtual lessons conducted via Zoom or GoogleMeet  
    • Option 2: In-person lessons are conducted exclusively at my in-home dance studio located in Monroe Township, NJ (full address will be provided through WhatsApp once we set a date and time). Outdoor sessions may also be available upon request in suitable weather conditions, with outdoor spaces including my pool patio area. Under no circumstance do I travel for in-person lessons. 
      • Upon us selecting a date for your first lesson, please immediately look at travel arrangement options and plan accordingly 
      • If you're planning on coming from NYC, you'll have a few options to get here.
        • #1 Drive/Uber (you can park in my driveway)
        • #2 Bus then Uber to my house (full disclosure - bus times are very limited)
        • #3 Train from Penn Station to Aberdeen-Matawan Station, then Uber to my house 
        • *If these options are unavailable to you for any reason, virtual lessons are always an option. 

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, AND LATE POLICIES 

  • Program Cancellation Policy - No refunds are available once your payment has been made. If you enrolled through a payment plan, you are obligated to fulfill all scheduled payments. 
  • Rescheduling Lessons - If you need to reschedule a lesson, please provide at least 24 hours of notice. Emergencies day-of are understood, but repeated last-minute rescheduling requests may result in a full charge for the lesson. 
  • Late policy - If you arrive late, your lesson will still conclude at the originally scheduled time, thereby reducing the lesson duration accordingly. 

TIME SPAN 

  • Upon enrollment, your first lesson date will be promptly scheduled. For optimal results, lessons are recommended to be scheduled 2-3 weeks apart to maintain motivation, facilitate effective practice, and allow time for integration between sessions. At least 1 lesson must be used each month. That being said, the following applies: 
    • The 3 Pack must be used within 3 months from the date of purchase.
    • The 5 Pack must be used within 5 months from the date of purchase.
    • The 10 Pack must be used within 10 months from the date of purchase. 
    • *If you are unable to schedule your lesson within the allotted time frame due to injury or illness, please reach out to me to discuss alternative arrangements.

OFFER LIMITATIONS 

  • What type of shuffle styles do you teach? 
    • I teach exclusively within my own style rooted in Melbourne and Cutting Shapes, focusing solely on these styles in my instruction. 
  • Do you teach tailored choreographies and review previous group class choreographies? 
    • I do not, due to the amount of preparation time it would take for me to create a choreo or go back and review/re-master a choreo I created previously. 
  • Can you teach me combos and choreos I see other shufflers doing? 
    • No! I do not teach combinations or choreographies created by other shufflers or shuffle teachers. If you are interested in learning their unique style and creations, please reach out to them directly. 
    • In addition to that, if there is a move or concept that I believe another teacher would be better suited to teach you, I will recommend and outsource it to that specific teacher. 

FAQ 

  • “Are results guaranteed?” Like anything in life, you will get out of this program what you put into it. There is no magic number of hours to practice each week to become a "successful shuffler", but what is guaranteed is that the more effort you put in, the faster you will progress on YOUR OWN timeline. If you commit to the process and put in the work, you will see results.
  • “Can I share this program with someone else?” The knowledge & skills you learn will definitely be share-worthy, but the activities in each lesson are tailored to the individual. In order for your friends to get the best results, I recommend they sign up to take the program themselves.
